Accuform Synthetic Board Belt
MWE International Inc and Garlock Rubber Technologies have spent many years now researching how best to produce a synthetic Gypsum Board Belt, while still ensuring a product that is dimensionally stable, with close gauge tolerances and the same high quality quick glazing covers we had with our standard cotton product, but without the negatives of cotton.

After long periods of testing we now are pleased to announce that we have successfully run in continuous production many of these Synthetic Gypsum Board Belts, and have now made the decision that this will be the only style of Board Belt we will manufacture in the future.
This product ran flawlessly on our equipment, and in the prodution of Wallboard. We are of the mindset that we will now be capable of running a more controlled balanced product, keeping tighter tolerances, with fewer repairs than we could with the cotton product.
This is an exciting period for us as we move forward on our intended path to become the Premier Board Belt Manufacturer in the world. We are now offering this product for the world Gypsum Industry immediately.
The Gray Belt
To meet and exceed your expectations, our belts are made with a specially treated 5 ply EP600 Polyester/Nylon carcass, with equal 4mm (3/16") top and bottom covers The carcass is treated to render it waterproof and the covers are formulated to inhibit water absorption in the absence of carbon black reinforcement.
Rotocure
Unlike the press cure method, Rotocure is a continuous vulcanization process. This insures there in no 'step' in the belt often caused by the press end effect, which is often reoccurring even when sanded out. Rotocure also insures that minor thickness variations are a smooth graduation and not detrimental to the surface of the forming wall board.
American Made
Garlock Rubber Technologies have taken a proven belt design, improved the quality using state of the art technology
and manufacture it in America. This allows our North American customers to avoid currency fluctuations as can occur when buying from other countries, and the factoy is virtually a 2 hour flight from anywhere in the USA for inspection purposes (at manufacturer) and provides the quality and performance associated with American made products.
